LESA is a consortium of Lutheran schools in the metropolitan St. Louis area who work collaboratively to support and enhance Lutheran education as they serve children and their families in their own unique location.

LESA presently serves over 8,000 students and 450 teachers and administrators in 30 Lutheran elementary schools, 4 Lutheran high schools and 4 affiliated agencies.

LESA provides financial assistance to children and families who struggle with the tuition cost of LESA Lutheran elementary schools by raising funds through its Building Blocks Scholarship Fund division.

Who is LESA’s governing body?

LESA’s Board of Directors is composed of men and women who are passionate about Lutheran schools and have the financial resources to assist in the mission.

Who is LESA’s professional staff?

LESA’s President Emeritus is responsible for maintaining a relationship with member schools and the funders who share our ministry focus. The Director of the Educational Administrators/Student Services Division leads and coordinates all responsibilities of the Division. The Chief Operations Officer is responsible for LESA operations, administers the financial assistance program, and assists with fundraising. LESA’s Administrative Assistant is responsible for accounting functions, public relations and supports all Divisions of LESA. Contact our administrative staff.

Who are the members of LESA?

The members of LESA have formally joined the Association and actively participate in LESA’s mission. To date, LESA members are 30 Lutheran elementary schools, 4 affiliate member high schools and 4 affiliate agencies. Various freestanding preschools are partnered with LESA’s marketing program.
