Lutheran Elementary School Association's Scholarship Funds
The Lutheran Elementary School Association (LESA) and its collaborative partners offer tuition assistance to children whose families' struggle with the rising costs of Lutheran elementary school tuition. Our mission is to touch the lives of children and families through an academically-focused, faith-based elementary school experience and make a positive difference in their future. Since its inception, LESA and it's Building Blocks Scholarship programs have awarded financial assistance to 6,530 students, with awards totaling nearly $6,000,000. Our goal is to make Lutheran elementary school education accessible to all children who apply and qualify. Scholarships awards announced
May 24, 2013.
Note for 2013/2014 Tuition Assistance: Applications received by the April 1st deadline for both Building Blocks Scholarship Fund and the Missouri District Scholarship Program are currently being reviewed, and award information will be shared with the students’ school administrators on May 24th. Applicant families who applied for tuition assistance will be notified of the award determinations by the school administrators.
Families may continue to apply to Building Blocks and the Missouri District Program through FACTS, however, please note that available funding under both programs will be significantly reduced once the May awards have been made. Funds for students qualifying for assistance will be awarded based on financial need, the order in which their application was received, and the availability of funding in the program under which they qualify. Tuition assistance will continue to be awarded on a monthly basis, until all available funding is exhausted.
