Building Blocks Scholarship Fund (BBSF)

Building Blocks Scholarship Fund offers financial assistance to children whose families' struggle with the rising costs of Lutheran elementary school tuition in our member schools. Our mission is to touch the lives of children and families through an academically-focused, faith-based elementary school experience and make a positive difference in their future. Since its inception, Building Blocks' programs have awarded financial assistance to 7,488 children, with awards totaling over $5,000,000. Our goal is to make Lutheran elementary school education accessible to all children who apply and qualify.



Please pay special attention to the application procedure, as this process has changed for the
2012-2013 school year.

Application Procedure:

  1. All applications will be submitted ONLINE at www.factstuitionaid.com.

  2. To apply for consideration, applicant is required to pay a $25 fee per family. For more details on the application process, download the FACTS flyer.

  3. Once your online application has been submitted, remember to fax or mail your supporting documentation to FACTS to complete the application process.

  4. Families will be notified by the school administrator of the award determination.

Applications completed via FACTS by April 1, 2012, will be eligible for the May, 2012 awards.  All applications received after this date will be considered on a case by case basis if funds are available.
