Around the World at Abiding Savior
Students at Abiding Savior Lutheran School in south St. Louis County sampled the cuisine and culture of Mexico, China and numerous other countries during a recent cultural fair for students and their families. Attractions included a Chinese Dragon parade led by first-graders, a Mexican Hat Dance, ethnic food stations, traditional Spanish dance music, and a presentation on the role immigrants play in shaping our country. As they visited each station, the students and their families received stamps in special passport books created for the event. Abiding Savior holds its cultural fair every three years; it holds science and art fairs on the alternate years. Abiding Savior Lutheran School serves319 students in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade and is located at 4353 Butler Hill Rd. in south St. Louis County.
