LUTHERAN HIGH FBLA MEMBER WINS STATE AWARD
05/11/2009 Nathan Frey, a student at Lutheran High School of St. Charles County, won top honors at the Future Business Leaders of America Missouri State Leadership Conference in Columbia April 19-21. Nathan competed in the Business Procedures event against representatives from across Missouri and placed third in his event, qualifying him for the national conference in Anaheim, California this summer.FBLA is a nonprofit organization that prepares students for careers in business and business education. Its mission is to bring business and education together in a positive working relationship through innovative leadership and career development programs. Lutheran High’s FBLA chapter was incorporated in 2003 and has sent students to the district and state competitions each year; Nathan is Lutheran High’s second member to qualify for nationals. Nathan is the son of Chris and DiAnne Frey of St. Charles.
