Lutheran High School with Four National Merit Scholarship Winners


Larry Marty, Principal of Lutheran High School of St. Charles County, recently announced that four members of the LHS Class of 2010 have been recognized as winners in the 2010 National Merit Scholarship Program.
 
Ashley Guebert, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Terry Guebert has been recognized as a Semi-Finalist in the competition and will be involved in further competition.  Philip Hoenig, son of Mr. and Mrs. Don Hoenig; Rachel Menscher, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Neal Menscher; and Ellen Roundey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Will Roundey have each been recognized as Commendable Students in the program.  These students recognized for their exceptional academic promise have placed in the top 5% of more than 1.5 million students who entered the competition. 
 
The Gueberts and Hoenigs are members at Immanuel Lutheran Church in St. Charles, MO; the Menschers are members at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Wentzville, MO; and the Roundeys are members at Holy Cross Lutheran in O'Fallon, MO.
